  2. Drain water and grind it. Coarsely. now add green chillies, turmeric,limbu na ful and sour curd and grind again until medium coarse texture.now transfer into a bowl.cover with a plate and keep it in warm place for 6 hours to fermentation
  3. Now grease steamer plate with oil.pour 2-3 glasses water in steamer and heat it on medium flame. Mix baking soda and salt in batter and stir it for a minute in one direction.The batter is increased to almost double.
  4. Pour it into greased plate until half of its height and sprinkle blackpaper and place them the steamer.steam it for 10-15 minutes over medium flame
  5. After 10-15 minutes,open the steamer and insert a knife into khaman and check if it comes out clean or not.now take out plate from steamer and let it cool for a few minutes and cut khaman into small square
  6. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, asafoetida,curry leaves, green chillies and saute for few seconds.turn off the flame and mix khaman properly. Garnish vati dal khaman with Finely chopped coriander and grated coconut
  7. Serve hot khaman with green chutney and tomato sauce
