- 1 generous pinch of Turmeric powder
- 1 Whole Dry Red Chilli
- as per taste Salt

- Heat mustard oil in a Kadai or wok, then adds Methi/ Fenugreek seeds, Cummin seeds, and whole dry chili. Add in the ginger and then the tomato. Cook for 2 minutes and add in the stalk first because it takes time to get cooked. Add the salt, cover, and cook for about 5 minutes so that it becomes soft. Add in the turmeric powder too.
- Then add in the leaves and chilies, you can either cook the leaves whole or chop them.
