  1. Wash and add water to the Dal or lentils and start boiling it. Once the scum of the Dal starts floating, throw it away with the help of a cooking spoon. Then add the other ingredients and boil and cook till the Dal gets soft, mushy and gets well cooked. Adjust consistency of the Dal. (As and when required add hot water while the Dal is cooking)
  2. In a pan, heat ghee. Once heated add the RADHUNI and whole dry chilli, once it starts crackling pour it in the Dal and add some Dal to the pan too and pour it back into the Dal. Cover it for about 5 minutes and then serve it hot with rice. Enjoy !
